The 1st Yankee game I ever attended was this one. I was 10 and the reason I remember this game is because of the double for is 2,000th hit and his home run for # 450. I was like, oh my god this guy is incredible, amazing, a god, wow! I was hooked!55 years ago! Interesting side note; my son was born September 17th, 1986.
