On September 21st, 2008, the New York Yankees played the Baltimore Orioles in the last Major League game ever to be played in Yankee Stadium.

Before the game, a moving ceremony was held on the field where Yankees, or a surviving family member, took their position out on the field. David Mantle proudly represented his dad in center field and wearing #7 on his flannel pinstriped uniform.
