I remember it like it was yesterday when Mickey came to my hometown of Paducah, Texas. My father and I took him quail hunting. After the day of hunting he signed a baseball to me it said To: Dennis your pal Mickey Mantle. Wonderful memories.
I was born in 1955 and I got to see the Mick play, along with other great players of that era. I loved Willie Mays but the Mick was my all time favorite. He was an awesome player to watch play the game !!! They don’t make them like him anymore !!!!
